At markets around the greater Providence area, I sell handmade, upcycled tarot accessories including altar cloths, bags, patches, and buttons as well as custom-dyed, one-of-a-kind secondhand garments.

I mainly use different ice dyeing methods on natural fabrics. Ice dyeing is what creates the melty, abstract, surreal designs. I love it as a chance-based medium that challenges me to give up my sense of control - no two garments will ever look the same, and you can't really predict exact results. I'm always experimenting with new techniques and I'd be happy to dye anything for you (as long as it's made of cotton, rayon, viscose, linen, cotton canvas, etc.).

La Forza Tarot works in collaboration with Patchwork Community Craft, an inclusive fabric arts studio in Pawtucket, to source materials and access sewing equipment. At markets, we frequently appear together - come say hi and learn about all of the classes, supplies, and community building events the studio has to offer!
